Getaway to the North Georgia Mountains

(706) 517-0300

Featuring a Queen Bed and a private bathroom (across the hall), The Yona Den opens onto a private rocking chair porch, bringing the beautiful outdoors inside. Egyptian cotton robes and a gas fireplace will ensure a cozy stay at our bed and breakfast in the North GA mountains – a perfect getaway.

Yona means Bear in Cherokee. The area in and around Fort Mountain was home to the Native American Cherokee for hundreds of years, and their legacy is still felt throughout North Georgia today. Black bears make their home in the North Georgia mountains, they can also be found along the Ocmulgee River drainage system in the central part of the state and in the Okefenokee Swamp in the southeast.
